This is a combination course offering the ultimate in gliding performance and superior control, achieved through the application of advanced infrared waxing technology (WAX FUTURE) and expert hand-finished edge tuning.

Our Edge Tuning service utilizes specialized files and modern edge tuners (such as the Swix EVO Pro Edge Tuner) to precisely tune both the base and side edges. We then polish them with various diamond files for an ultra-sharp finish. The standard finishing angles are 1° for the base and 88° for the side (total edge angle of 89°), but angles can be adjusted upon request. We carefully remove the sidewall material where necessary (known as “bordering”).

The WAX FUTURE process is performed after the edge tuning. A dedicated infrared irradiation machine heats the base uniformly from the inside out, allowing the wax to penetrate deeply and evenly—a level unreachable by conventional ironing. This ensures amazing durability and gliding performance. After sufficient cooling, excess wax is removed through careful scraping and brushing, and a finishing cloth is used to eliminate static electricity. The base wax used is carefully selected to match the expected snow conditions.

All work is done by hand and by hand.
